Crescent Communities Shares Seventh Statement of Stewardship
Crescent Communities is pleased to share our seventh annual Stewardship Report. This report outlines our progress in reporting our environmental impact, our resolve to address inequities of all forms, and the expansion of our community-giving efforts. It also underscores the fact that we are part of an interconnected web, and our actions and behaviors can have long-term environmental and societal impacts.
Being good stewards is fundamental to the successful pursuit of our overall mission to build community and better people’s lives. At Crescent Communities, we strive to make decisions that address current and future challenges and to improve continuously in order to have a positive impact on the planet, the people, and the places we build and call home. We hold ourselves accountable through regular evaluation of our practices and ongoing measurement. Our goal is to ensure that the communities under our stewardship flourish for many years to come.
This report outlines not only the progress we are making, but also emphasizes the many reasons we make the decisions that we do. It shows that we do not always take the easy path, and we carefully evaluate our actions to balance our decision-making with smart business practices for the environment, the community, and those who will utilize it. While we are pleased with our progress, we also recognize that there is much work to be done. With our team of talented, passionate, and collaborative leaders, we know that we have the strength to not only weather any potential economic challenges, but to build on our success while growing our commitment to the environment and our advocacy for fostering inclusive communities.
We hope this Stewardship Report will continue to inspire our colleagues, our partners, and the broader community to understand the impacts that their decisions and actions have and motivate them to make choices that enable the environment to flourish and for communities to thrive.
