Crescent Communities Completes Construction of Goodwill Industries build-to-suit facility at AXIAL Southgate 77

ROCK HILL, South Carolina – (March 6, 2024) Crescent Communities, a nationally recognized market-leading real estate investor, developer, and operator of mixed-use communities and industrial projects, announced today the completion of construction of a 50,276-square-foot build-to-suit facility at AXIAL Southgate 77 for Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont. 

Located on Galleria Boulevard, AXIAL Southgate 77 offers immediate access to I-77 at Dave Lyle Blvd. to the north and Highway 21 to the south. Its corporate neighbors include a variety of industry leaders like Pepsi, Lowe’s, Walmart, Ross Stores, and UPS.

The second building in the park, a 220,281-square-foot speculative warehouse, will deliver in May 2024." 

The campus contains two buildings totaling 270,557 square feet. The spec warehouse has 32-foot clear heights, an ESFR fire sprinkler system, 53 dock-high loading doors, 4 pit levelers, 2 drive-in doors, 2,500 square feet of office area, and ample parking for future tenants. Currently, 220,281 square feet is available for leasing, with the ability to accommodate a wide range of uses including last mile logistics, distribution, light manufacturing, and assembly.  

The completion of Goodwill’s build-to-suit facility at AXIAL Southgate 77 marks the latest project in Crescent Communities’ robust industrial portfolio, including the groundbreaking of AXIAL Midway 321 in Lincolnton, NC, continued construction at AXIAL Rapid Commerce in Charlotte, NC, AXIAL Bonds Farm in Concord, NC,  AXIAL Gateway 95 in Richmond, VA, the completion of AXIAL 301 Manatee in Bradenton, FL, and AXIAL Crosspoint in Greenville, SC, collectively solidifying the company’s position as a leader in industrial development.
